As Henderson has continued to grow, so has the demand for quality healthcare services. To help meet the needs of the community, Henderson Hospital completed a major expansion that included a new 218,310 square foot patient tower, additions to the existing campus, and renovations throughout the hospital. The project increased patient capacity, expanded maternity and specialty care services, and modernized key hospital infrastructure to support future growth.

TJK provided electrical and technology engineering services for the new tower, building additions, and renovations. Our team designed the power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, and Level 2 technology infrastructure, including nurse call, voice and data, security, CCTV, paging, and telecommunications systems. As the project evolved, we continued supporting the hospital through multiple design revisions, including modifications for patient care units, medical gas rooms, and technology systems to meet changing operational needs.

A key part of our work focused on strengthening the hospital's electrical infrastructure for long-term flexibility. By redesigning portions of the electrical distribution and emergency power systems, we helped create a facility that can better support future renovations while maintaining reliable service for critical patient care. The completed expansion positions Henderson Hospital to continue serving the community for years to come.
