Steve Jones is a natural-born engineer – that’s something everyone knew since he was young. His curiosity and inclination to take things apart and put them back together was a telltale sign that he would be a future engineer. Steve earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno and accepted his first engineering job in Las Vegas. Steve accepted a position with TJK and became TJK’s first Director of Mechanical Engineering before becoming the VP of Engineering in 2023. Steve has worked on countless projects in his experience, from residential to commercial, with his favorite project being the Downtown Container Park.

​Steve is a family man, father of four daughters, and supportive husband who loves taking road trips and visiting national parks with his family. In addition, he loves collecting Star Wars memorabilia, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, learning new handyman skills, and supporting his family in their interests. As a part time tutor to his daughters and dad joke enthusiast, Steve always has a witty remark ready to lighten the mood.
