Located in downtown Las Vegas, The Beverly Theater is an independent film house and performance venue created to provide a dedicated home for film, live music, and literary programming. The approximately 14,300 square foot, two story facility opened in 2023 and features a highly flexible main theater with retractable seating, along with a courtyard and terrace for additional events and gatherings.

TJK provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology engineering services for the new facility. The specialized nature of the theater required careful consideration of lighting, power, acoustics, and HVAC systems to support both film screenings and live performances. TJK designed the building’s power distribution and general lighting systems, coordinated infrastructure for theatrical lighting and audio visual equipment, and developed HVAC systems with particular attention to noise control. Our scope also included plumbing and Level 2 technology systems for voice and data, CCTV, and security.

The Beverly Theater brings a unique cultural venue to downtown Las Vegas, providing a flexible space where independent film and live performance can share the same stage.
