TJK provided plumbing, electrical, and structural engineering services for the installation of an EcoVAP evaporative matrix system at the MP Materials Mountain Pass Mine. The system included 88 evaporation towers arranged across six floating barge systems.

TJK’s plumbing design included water distribution and pump and piping sizing to serve the evaporation towers. Electrical engineering included power distribution for each barge and connections for pumps, control panels, and other system equipment. TJK also provided structural engineering oversight for the floating barge system, including structural framing, connections, and anchorage.

The engineering supported the integration of the new evaporation system with the infrastructure and operating conditions of the existing mine site.
