Henderson Hospital expanded and renovated its existing emergency department to increase capacity and support growing demand for emergency care. The project included a 12,664 square foot addition with 24 observation bays and new waiting and admitting areas, along with renovation of 

approximately 3,300 square feet of existing space and the addition of six emergency department bays.

TJK provided electrical and technology engineering services for the expansion and renovation. Our design included modifications to the hospital’s electrical distribution and emergency power systems, interior and exterior lighting, and power to support medical and building equipment throughout the expanded department. Technology systems included nurse call, voice and data, audio visual, and CCTV and security infrastructure.

The project expanded the hospital’s emergency and observation capacity while integrating the new spaces into the existing hospital infrastructure.​
