Desert Diamonds Baseball Complex is the second phase of Mountains Edge Regional Park, bringing tournament quality baseball facilities to the southwest Las Vegas Valley. The complex features four 90 foot adult baseball fields with scoreboards and seating, along with restrooms, concessions, an announcer booth, and parking for up to 400 vehicles. One of the fields was designed to meet championship level lighting requirements.

TJK provided electrical engineering services for the baseball fields and supporting facilities. A key consideration was balancing the high light levels required for competitive play with the surrounding residential areas. TJK selected and designed fixtures to direct light onto the fields while minimizing glare and light trespass into nearby neighborhoods.

Our scope also included lighting for parking, pathways, shade structures, and signage, along with power and technology infrastructure for the restrooms, concession building, and announcer booth. TJK also provided connections for scoreboards, pitching machines, and irrigation controls.
