Clark County is undergoing a major lighting control system upgrade at the 783,600 square foot Regional Justice Center to modernize the aging facility and improve energy efficiency. The project consists of updating outdated fluorescent fixtures to LED lighting and incorporating wireless motion sensors that reduce energy use by automatically turning off lights in unoccupied areas.

TJK is providing electrical engineering services to integrate the new controls with both original and retrofitted fixtures. Our team assessed lighting throughout the facility, identified fixtures requiring additional upgrades, and performed lighting power density and IECC energy compliance calculations to support the retrofit. The use of wireless controls also reduced the need for additional conduit and wiring, helping simplify installation within the existing facility.
