Fire Station #85 was developed from the City of Henderson’s existing Fire Station #91 prototype, adapted for a new site and the operational needs of the station. TJK provided mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology engineering services for the 11,500 square foot LEED Silver facility, which includes three apparatus bays, training and storage areas, and living accommodations for up to eleven firefighters.

TJK modified the prototype design to incorporate four dorm rooms, a dedicated ATV garage, and systems tailored to the new site. The completed station provides modern training and living spaces while supporting the day to day needs of Henderson’s first responders.
