The Bureau of Reclamation is developing a new Yuma Area Office campus to support its operations throughout the Lower Colorado River region. The Yuma Area Office manages critical water and infrastructure systems serving communities and agricultural areas across Arizona, California, and Mexico. The new 62-acre campus will bring these operations together with an administration building and laboratory, warehouse, maintenance shops, ancillary building, and supporting site amenities.

TJK is providing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology engineering assessment and schematic design services for the new campus. Our work includes evaluation of HVAC and plumbing systems, site power distribution and emergency backup power, photovoltaic and lighting design, utility coordination, and Level 2 technology systems. The engineering infrastructure is being planned across the campus to support the different operational needs of the office, laboratory, warehouse, and maintenance facilities.

The new campus will provide the Yuma Area Office with facilities to support its staff and the essential infrastructure it manages throughout the region.
