TJK provided full MEPT engineering design services for Northeast Career & Technical Academy (NECTA), the newest magnet high school for the Clark County School District. Located in North Las Vegas, NECTA was designed to offer students hands-on, career-focused education in high-demand fields including health sciences, information technology, and skilled trades.

 

The 259,838-square-foot campus consists of four program-specific buildings, each tailored to support specialized curriculum needs. Several of NECTA’s signature programs required targeted engineering solutions such as specialized ventilation and exhaust systems for the Construction Technology and Diesel Technology programs, as well as enhanced plumbing and electrical systems to support the Medical Professions track.

 

Our mechanical design emphasized indoor air quality and energy efficiency to support both comfort and sustainability. Plumbing systems were customized to meet the diverse requirements of labs and classrooms, while our electrical and technology design delivered modern infrastructure capable of supporting advanced instructional technologies, strong connectivity, and district-wide safety standards. In addition, TJK provided utility coordination services for power, telephone, and cable to ensure seamless integration with local utility providers and minimize construction delays.
