Your Impact
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) who will manage projects from start to finish while leading and mentoring a team of designers within the mechanical discipline. This role combines strategic project leadership with daily technical oversight, making it ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, team coordination, and hands-on engineering.
As Project Manager/Team Lead, you will plan, direct, and oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects - managing schedules, budgets, resources, client communication, and quality assurance. You will mentor designers, coordinate workloads, and ensure that mechanical system designs are accurate, innovative, and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage mechanical projects from kickoff through completion, overseeing schedules, budgets, and client communication.

Lead and mentor a team of designers, guiding workloads, priorities, and professional development.

Coordinate design efforts across all disciplines and ensure quality, accuracy, and code compliance.

Conduct mechanical QA/QC reviews and verify cross-discipline coordination at each milestone.

Support clients throughout the project, address issues proactively, and maintain strong relationships.

Manage resources, subconsultants, deliverables, and project documentation.
Your Strengths

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and active P.E. license.

8+ years of experience in mechanical system design and project management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a design team and manage workload.

Excellent communication and client coordination abilities.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant design tools.

Strong understanding of codes, standards, and best practices.
