Hollywood Regional Park
The Hollywood Regional Park is an expansive 76-acre recreation hub located at the base of the Frenchman Mountain and Range in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Phase 1 expansion included the addition of two miles of walking trails and new sports fields and amenities to meet the increasing demand from soccer clubs and the growing community in Southern Nevada.
Our scope consisted of electrical, technology, mechanical and plumbing engineering for shade structures, dog parks, desert native gardens, walking trails, soccer fields, pickleball courts, restroom buildings that including cooling for electrical rooms, new dry utilities, new driveway and parking lots, conduit infrastructure for future Wi-Fi systems, and an ADA connectivity walking trail from the existing aquatic center to the new parking lot.
The success of the project results from its strategic integration of innovative technology. While LED sports lighting is common throughout Clark County, this initiative stands out for its use of advanced fixtures that offer superior glare and spill control. These lights ensure optimal illumination for the sports fields while significantly reducing light pollution, enhancing both the park’s usability and the surrounding environment. Adding to the innovation, pathway lights equipped with motion sensors automatically dim when no one is nearby enhancing energy efficiency and reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainability.
The expansion of Hollywood Regional Park, including its offerings and views of the Las Vegas Valley, is a testament to the power of innovative design and collaborative execution of a vision. The park delivers on providing a functional, connected, and energy-conscious recreational space that will serve the Southern Nevada community for years to come.
