The 3rd Street improvements project with the City of Las Vegas involved general lighting, landscaping lighting, and electrical design to support the park elements added along 3rd street between Charleston Boulevard and Bonneville Avenue as well as Charleston to Hoover. TJK provided the design for the streetlights, pedestrian walkway, play area, picnic area, dog runs, shade structure, general power layout, and tree-up lighting.

 

The lighting for the group of shade structures along the corridor is connected back to a controller that allows for all light levels and a rainbow of colors to be programmed from everyday use to special functions. The project aligns with the City of Las Vegas vision to provide the business community, residents, and visitors access to their neighborhoods and government in a safe, progressive, and vibrant urban setting.
