Marco is a first-generation college graduate whose family immigrated to the United States a few years before he was born. They settled in Las Vegas after moving from Illinois in 2005, and he has called it his home ever since. Marco graduated with honors from UNLV, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. While pursuing his degree, he participated in several clubs, including the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). During his final two years at UNLV, he worked part-time as a tutor for the engineering department before he started his first official engineering position at TJK.

 

Marco draws inspiration from his father, who came to the US as a young adult with no knowledge of the English language. Today, his father is a fluent English speaker and a manager at a local distribution warehouse. Marco's father's resilience motivates him to keep pushing towards his goals, regardless of the obstacles he may encounter. In his free time, Marco enjoys spending time with friends and watching movies that leave a lasting impression. He has a passion for travel and hopes to explore Eastern Europe and Asia.
